Tanandes Varietals is a line of young wines produced in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina, a unique territory in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The grapes come from vineyards at altitudes between 3000 and 4000 feet. This land is considered one of the best in the country for wine production because of its intense sunlight, cool right temperatures, and mineral-rich irrigation from the mountain's snowmelt, which translate to dazzlingly bright, aromatic, and rich flavors. The wines were designed by winemaker Jose Hinojosa following the new tendency in winemaking to heighten the characteristics typical for the variety, with a delicate balance between the fruit and the wood.
