This is the wine that best expresses all the peculiarities of the producer’s many terroirs. In fact, it is produced with Sangiovese grapes harvested from vineyards having different altitudes, expositions, and soils, which are matched with the different ages and styles of vines, giving life to an elegant, fine, and balanced wine.

In the mouth, this wine is harmonic balanced hints of violet, iris, and red fruits.

Soil: Medium texture, Alberese based, stony slightly clayey Pruning system: Spurred cordon, guyot.
Density: 5000 plants/ha.
Age of vineyard: 10-18 years old.
Harvest: End of September.
Colour: Clear, intense ruby red.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation and post-fermentation maceration on the skins take place in vitrified cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 28- 30°C (82°F-86°F) for a period of about 20 days. Malolactic fermentation happens spontaneously between November and December.
Barrel aging: Slavonian oak casks with medium capacity (25hl - 50hl) for 8 - 10 months.
Bottle refining: 3 months.
Annual production: 80.000 btls.
Scent: Fresh, intense with evident fruity notes (cherry, ripe red fruit).
Taste: Soft with good structure, slightly tannic, balanced, and elegant.
Matches with: Starters, fìrst courses, meat dishes, fresh cheeses. Very pleasing, it can be matched with all meat dishes.
